<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality diagnosing device and method capable of precisely diagnosing the presence of the generation of abnormality of a wheel motor mounted in the vehicle, without receiving the influence of the peripheral circumstances. <P>SOLUTION: The temperatures of the interior of a pair of wheel motors, which electrically drive vehicle wheels arranged at laterally symmetric positions with respect to the advancing direction, are respectively measured, the difference in the measured temperatures of the interior of the pair of wheel motors is calculated, and the calculated temperature difference is compared with a specified threshold value to determine the presence of the abnormality of the vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
