<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake reduced in weight and improved in efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The brake device for hoist machine comprises: a pair of internally expanding type electromagnetic brakes disposed in 180°-opposite positions, the brake including: a fixed iron core 4 having a coil 3; a yoke 11 having the coil 3 wound thereon through an insulating bobbin 10 and a spring 12 fixed to a fixing hole 13; a movable iron core 5 electromagnetically attracted by the fixed iron core 4 and abutting on the spring 12 to receive a pressing force of the spring 12; and a shoe connected with the movable iron core 5 through a connecting member and abutting on the inner circumferential surface of a brake drum connected to a rotor of a hoist machine to brake the rotor. The yoke 11 is provided in a nearly central portion of a plane parallel to the rotor central axis direction of the fixed iron core 4, and the fixing hole 13 is provided in a position off-center in the rotor central axis direction on both outer sides of the coil 3 of the fixed iron core 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
