PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute synthetic operation processing of images under low load using a small scale circuit by reducing data quantity of wipe information used for applying the synthetic operation processing to each pixel. SOLUTION: With respect to the wipe information for longitudinal wiping, as gray values of pixels on the same horizontal position are identical with one another, the wipe information is shared between the multiple pixels by having the wipe information of every pixel on a vertical direction on a screen. When the wiping processing is executed, the same wipe information is repeatedly used to the pixels on the same horizontal position. More specifically, every time the horizontal position of the processed pixel moves in a vertical direction, the wipe information is read out only once for a comparison operation with reference information, and operation results thereof are applied to each pixel on the same horizontal direction.
