PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control device searching system for surely finding out a remote control device. SOLUTION: In this remote control device searching system configured of a control object device as a device to be controlled by a remote control device for transmitting a search signal for searching the location of the remote control device when a specific operation part installed in its own device is operated and a remote control device equipped with a notification means for executing notification processing for letting a user know the location of its own device when receiving the search signal, the control object device repeatedly transmits a second search signal different from the search signal in every predetermined time, and the remote control device periodically repeats processing for detecting the second retrieval signal in a fixed time, and the notification means executes notification processing to let the user know the location of its own equipment even when the second search signal is not detected in the fixed time.
