PILE HOLE EXCAVATING HEAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely get hold of the state of an excavating arm above the ground by an operation rod 38 by operating the operation rod 38 connected to an operation tool 30 above the ground to open and close the excavating arm 20. SOLUTION: An excavating head 40 includes: a head body 1; the excavating arm 20 fitted to a horizontal shaft 19; and the operation tool 30. A rocking guide part 26 having a guide surface 26a is projected on the upper end of the excavating arm 20. An operating shaft 28 is provided above the horizontal shaft 19 of the head body 1. The substantially L-shaped operation tool 30 is rotatably fitted to the operating shaft 28, a pressing edge 35 of an operating part 33 on one side of the operation tool 30 can be abutted on the rocking guide part 26 of the excavating arm 20 to guide rocking, and the operation rod 38 above the ground is connected to the other side. In excavating to the diameter of the pile hole shaft part 44, (a) the excavating head 40 is rotated normally to keep the excavating diameter D1with earth pressure and the operation tool 30. In excavating an enlarged diameter bottom part 45 of the pile hole, (b) the excavating head 40 is rotated in the reverse direction to keep the excavating diameter D2with earth pressure, the operation tool 30 and a stopper 55.
