PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regenerating method of molding sand capable of safely and efficiently removing thermosetting resin adherent to the molding sand. SOLUTION: Organic substance P adherent to the molding sand S is carbonized by irradiating microwave to the molding sand S under reduction atmosphere.
