METAL COATED WITH CERAMIC ON THE SURFACE, AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable all of metals regardless of their melting points to be coated with a pure SiC, enable the generation of a peeling due to the difference in thermal expansion coefficient to be prevented, and also enable the SiC coating time to be shortened. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the metal coated with a ceramic on its surface includes a step (a) for preparing a coating solution by dissolving an SiC precursor into a solvent; a step (b) for coating the surface of a metal material with the coating solution prepared in the step (a) by a coating method not using a high temperature; a step (c) for forming an SiC precursor coating layer on the surface of the metal material by drying the metal material coated with the coating solution in an atmosphere shut oxygen out; a step (d) for removing a part of a polymer by pretreating the SiC precursor coating layer; and a step(e) for converting the SiC precursor coating layer into an SiC coating layer through heat treatment.
