<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel with an in-wheel type motor with built-in sensor capable of detecting force applied to a ground-contact point of the wheel and a road surface by a load detection sensor installed on the bearing device for the wheel compact with sufficient sensibility, and accurately performing control for securing traveling stability of a vehicle body. <P>SOLUTION: In the bearing device for the wheel, a double-row rolling bodies 15 are interposed between an inner member 12 and an outer member 11 and a knuckle 7 of a suspension device is mounted to the inner member. The wheel 1 is mounted to the outer member 11 and a stator 21 and a rotor 22 of an electric motor 20 are provided on the inner member 12 and the outer member 11 respectively. Sensors 61, 62 for measuring at least one direction force of forces of the three axis directions of a vertical direction, a left/right direction and a longitudinal direction perpendicular to one another, acting on the ground-contact point of the wheel 1 and the road surface by detecting deflection of the inner member 12 are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
