PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector made of a plurality of stacked housings, with terminal fixing assured in a housing chamber. SOLUTION: A stacked electric connector (10) is formed by insertion-coupling an upper side housing (20) and a lower side housing (30) each with housing chambers (21, 31). The upper side and the lower side housings (20, 30) contain first terminal assurance provided by lances (24, 34) integrally formed with those housings. A secondary terminal assurance system further fixes the terminals in the housings. In one embodiment, the secondary terminal assurance system is given by a protrusion (39) of the lower side housing (30) to a terminal (40) of the upper side housing (20), and is given to a hinge (35) of the lower side housing (30) to a terminal (40) of the lower side housing (30).
