PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating device of a transmission which can improve suitable productivity on assembling work and has a certain assembling structure. SOLUTION: In the operating device 1 of a transmission having a shift and selection shaft 3 which is retained on a casing and is possible for axial movement and turning around the shaft, an inner lever 4 which is integrally formed together with the shaft 3 and performs a selected operation by connecting with one of a plurality of fork shafts and performs the selected operation of the selected fork shaft, an interlock plate 5 which is relatively and rotatably retained on the shaft 3 and is connected with the rest of fork shafts not selected by synchronized with the selection operation, and an actuator plate 6 which prohibits turning of the interlock plate 5 at the time of its assembling, the interlock plate 5 also has an axially-extended lock member 51, and the actuator plate 6 has a plurality of claw members 62 which can make the lock member 51 axially move and grip the lock member 51 being irrotatable around the shaft.
