PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair extension attaching method capable of reducing the time required for attaching a hair extension, enabling a user to attach the extension by oneself, being finished into a small size unnoticeably compared to an extension requiring braiding in three or four braids, and having a sufficient strength so as to be free from loosening even pulling tight without requiring braiding in three braids. SOLUTION: This hair extension attaching method includes producing an assembling bundle 8 through arranging the folded parts of a hair extension 4 on the basis of right and left one's own hair bundles 3 and 2 and superposing a right extension bundle 7 on the right one's own hair bundle 2, drawing out the left one's own hair bundle 3 from the lower side of the folded part of the extension 4 to intersect with the assembling bundle 8, and positioning the intersected left one's own hair bundle 3 backward so as to wind the assembling bundle 8. Furthermore, the method includes drawing the wound left one's own hair bundle 3 out to the front of a left extension bundle 6 to intersect therewith, and positioning the bundle backward so as to wind the left extension bundle 6, drawing out the turned left one's own hair bundle 3 in front of the assembling bundle 8 to intersect therewith, and tightening each of the hair bundles 3, 6 and 8 for finish processing.
