PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending device of a carcass ply material used in a green tire manufacturing method capable of certainly winding the carcass ply material around a bead ring in an expected manner without restricting the winding edge part around the bead ring of the carcass ply material to the bead ring by a separately applied restriction member or the like. SOLUTION: Two annular grooves 4 are provided on the peripheral surfaces of the anvil rolls 3, each of which has a diameter smaller than that of a rigid core 1, arranged to the respective side parts of the rigid core 1 having an outer surface shape matching the inner surface shape of a product tire in an adjacent state and fixed on the rotary drive shaft 2 of the rigid core 1. A rotary disk 7 for locally pushing the carcass ply material 5 in the annular grooves 7 of the anvil rolls 3 is provided so as to move close or apart with respect to the anvil rolls 3.
