PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laundry apparatus having a temperature for drying laundry which is stably adjusted without reducing the service life of a valve for adjusting the amount of steam supplied to heating means. SOLUTION: A first steam supply passage 24a having a passage diameter relatively large, and a second steam supply passage 24b having a passage diameter relatively small, are independently provided. Accordingly, when a first valve V27 is opened, a relatively large amount of steam is supplied from the first steam supply passage 24a to a drying heater 13, and when a second valve V28 is opened, a relatively small amount of steam is supplied to the drying heater 13. An appropriate use of the first valve V27 and the second valve V28 reduces the frequency of opening/closing of the valves, and the temperature for drying the laundry is stably adjusted while preventing a reduction in the service life of the valves.
