PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a fluid-entangled nonwoven fabric by which uneven streaks formed by a high-speed fluid treatment are reduced to have a uniform surface with excellent abrasion resistance. SOLUTION: The method for producing the fluid-entangled nonwoven fabric is carried out as follows: In the high-speed fluid treatment of the fluid-entangled nonwoven fabric, the high-speed fluid treatment is performed at a power of the fluid of≥10 W per hole of a nozzle from the front side of the nonwoven fabric A at least twice and the high-speed fluid treatment is carried out at a power of the fluid of 4-35 W per hole of a nozzle using the nozzle having a hole diameter of 0.05-0.14 mm and a cover factor of≥25 from the back side of the nonwoven fabric A at least twice.
