PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for manufacturing an inorganic oxide or inorganic hydroxide powder producing a powder being fine and having a narrow particle size distribution. SOLUTION: The method for powdering an inorganic oxide or inorganic hydroxide contains a thin film forming process where a thin film is formed on a centrifugal disk by spraying an inorganic solution dissolved in an acid, hydroxide or other solvent, a finely pulverizing process where the thin film is scattered by rotating the centrifugal disk at high speed to form minute liquid droplets, and a crystallizing process where thus formed minute liquid droplets are crystallized.
