PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet-fed printing machine in which predetermined origins are set on independent drive sources. SOLUTION: This sheet-fed printing machine generally comprises a main controller 31, a motor peripheral device 32 for the second drive source (for driving a separator), and a motor peripheral device 33 for the third drive source (for driving a paper feed roller). The motor peripheral device 32 for the second drive source comprises a servo-amplifier 35, the motor 36 with an encoder 39, and a timing sensor 34 for origin confirmation. The motor peripheral device 33 for the third drive source is also formed in a same structure. The second and third drive sources have predetermined origins for reference of control, respectively, and controlled in reference to the origins. Specifically, the second drive source has, as the origin, a reference point for the periodical operations of the separator.
