The engine (13) has a speed-change actuator, and a transmission provided in a power transmission pathway, where a rotational drive power of a crankshaft is transmitted to a drive wheel through the transmission pathway. An output shaft forms a part of the transmission, and outputs the transmitted drive power to the drive wheel. The crankshaft and the transmission are accommodated in the engine case. A speed-change actuator is attached to the engine case to control a speed-change operation of the transmission, and is arranged below the output shaft.
