<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilizing structure of a heat exchanger, diffusing silver ions in a water receiving part to restrain breeding of bacteria, and preventing corrosion of a heat exchange structure. <P>SOLUTION: The heat exchanger 1 includes: the water receiving part 3 for storing water in a lower part of the device and the heat exchange structure 2 for accelerating heat exchange for a fluid introduced into the device as an object, wherein the heat exchange structure 2 is mainly composed of metal having a larger ionization tendency than the silver, and it is at least partly dipped in water staying in the water receiving part 3. The heat exchanger includes a silver electrode 8 disposed in the interior of the water receiving part 3 and a voltage supply means 9 to which the silver electrode 8 is connected as an anode and the heat exchange structure 2 is connected to a cathode, and which applies voltage between both poles to generate silver ions in the water staying in the water receiving part 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
