<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire inserting jig which fits for use in the existing wire bonding device while allowing smooth insertion of wire into a capillary without bending a wire. <P>SOLUTION: The wire inserting jig, which is arranged just above a capillary 31 on a wire bonding device, has guide sections 10A, 10B, 20A, and 20B where guide paths 11 and 21 are formed for guiding a wire 34, and an air supply means for leading the wire 34 toward the capillary 31 by supplying the air to the guide paths 11 and 21 in the guide sections 10A, 10B, 20A and 20B.
