<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent lamp in which a holding part has a sufficient heat resistance and cost is relatively low and an electric shock countermeasure can be made without addition of a structure or the like to an apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The fluorescent lamp is provided with a light emitting tube 1 having one each of electrodes on both end portions, a case formed and fixed by a holding portion to hold both end portions of the light emitting tube 1 and a mouth piece portion 2 to supply power to the electrodes and a light emitting tube lead wire to connect the electrodes with the mouth piece portion 2.
