PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial air gap motor with an eccentricity-tolerant structure. SOLUTION: The axial air gap motor of the invention has a motor section 1a in which a stator 4 faces a rotor 3 through a predetermined air gap 14 in the direction of an rotational axis of the rotor 3. The axial air gap motor includes: a case 5 for enclosing the rotor and the stator, and fixing the stator on its inner surface; and a bearing 7 disposed between the case and the rotor, accepting a displacement of the rotor to the case in the direction orthogonal to the center line of the case, and enabling a rotation of the rotor on the rotational axis.
