PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin lock handle device for a door by reducing length of a locking shaft. SOLUTION: An attitude holding mechanism of a handle is composed of a spring receiving recessed part 10 formed on a front side of a rear surface wall part 9 of a fixed case 1 on a central line in the forward and backward directions of a crossing pivotal shaft 5 and arranged in an offset manner by shifting its position up and down from a screw hole 6 for fixation of a clamp plate 8, a compression coil spring 11 stored in the spring receiving recessed part 10 and deformed elastically along the central line in the forward and backward directions of the crossing pivotal shaft 5, an intermediary seat panel 13 which can move along the central line in the forward and backward directions of the crossing pivotal shaft 5 and in which a front end of the compression coil spring 11 is abutted on its rear surface, and an input protruding part 14 formed at a position being deviated onto a terminal side from the central line in the forward and backward directions of the crossing pivotal shaft 5 on a rear surface of a terminal part of the handle 4 and abutting on a front face of the intermediary seat panel 13.
