PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control unit of a sprinkler system, which can properly control water sprinkling in accordance with the status of use, while suppressing erroneous operations. SOLUTION: This control unit of the sprinkler system comprises: an object temperature sensor 11 for detecting the temperature of an object subject to water sprinkling; an air-temperature sensor 12 for detecting an air-temperature; and a sprinkling control portion which determines a water-sprinkling starting time and a water-sprinkling stopping time, according to a temperature difference between the temperature of the object 1 detected by the object temperature sensor 11, and the air temperature detected by the air-temperature sensor 12. Thus, even if such a relationship between the air temperature and the temperature of the object 1 as to be established during the implementation of measures against a heat-island phenomenon is not univocal, or even if a road surface temperature-changing condition, for example, in the prevention of road surface freezing occurs, the control unit properly controls the water sprinkling, while suppressing the erroneous operations.
