PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively melt snow by natural heat using geothermal heat, without the use of devices such as a pump, a burner, a motor, and a heater. SOLUTION: In this snow-melting concrete tank for being buried underground, a bottom portion is equipped with a thermal storage space S, and a small drain hole 15 is provided above the thermal storage space S (Claim 1). The provision of the thermal storage space S in the bottom portion of the snow-melting tank 10 makes the geothermal heat constantly stored in the thermal storage space, and brings about the warming of a snow-melting space on the thermal storage space. When water W is pre-poured to the level of the small drain hole 15, the water W is warmed by the geothermal heat, so as to rapidly melt the charged snow N.
