PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure an entrance for getting into the back side of an entrance-side space, in such a manner that the size of the entrance is set as large as possible, while securing the high independence of a habitable room from the entrance-side space provided in such a manner as to continue into an entrance of a dwelling unit. SOLUTION: This dwelling unit structure of an apartment house is a structure of a one-room-type dwelling unit which constitutes the apartment house. The dwelling unit structure is equipped with the entrance-side space 5 which is divided from the habitable room 1 by a first partition wall 5c protruding to an indoor side from a boundary wall 6 continuing in the depth direction x of the dwelling unit, and a second partition wall 5d protruding toward the side of a main entrance 5a from an protruding end 5c' of the first partition wall 5c, and which is provided in such a manner as to continue into the entrance 7 of the dwelling unit. A protruding end 5d' of the second partition wall 5d is located in a position almost identical with that of a step section 1a for partitioning the entrance-side space 5 and the habitable room 1 from each other.
