PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate processing apparatus, particularly a plate processing apparatus suitable for sucking in and recovering cullets produced at breaking of a glass plate. SOLUTION: A cleaning means 31 for sucking in and recovering the cullets is attached to the bottom end of a first processing head 7A. At breaking of a material glass plate 2, a valve 39 is placed at a first position shown in the figure, and a suction blower 36 is turned on while air is ejected from a blow nozzle 32 toward a part subjected to breaking. The cullets produced at the part subjected to breaking are sucked in and recovered by a lateral suction nozzle 35B. When breaking is not performed, the valve 39 is placed at a second position, and the suction blower 36 is turned on to suck in and recover the cullets left on a placing surface 3A of a machining table 3 by a bottom suction nozzle 35A.
