PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent composition for pets containing ceramides, which improves residual properties of ceramides, thereby exhibits a high detergency and yet keeps the pet's skin healthy. SOLUTION: The detergent composition for pets comprises (A) 0.05-2 mass% of specific ceramides, (B) 10-50 mass% of a nonionic or anionic surfactant, (C) 20-50 mass% of an alcohol, (D) 0.1-5 mass% of a polyether-modified silicone and (E) water.
