PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship with a thruster and a storable thruster, in which the thruster is certainly set under a water surface even in a ship of shallow draft, the generation of sailing resistance, a turbulent flow and cavitation caused by a thruster tunnel are prevented, and vibration and reduction in speed caused thereby are prevented. SOLUTION: When the ship 1 sails normally, a piston of an air cylinder 25 goes in/out, and a case 31 is stored in a ship body. At this time, since there is no projecting object in a ship bottom outer part, and a ship bottom is flat also in a mounting position, the reduction in speed and vibration caused by the generation of sailing resistance, the turbulent flow and the cavitation which are peculiar to a fixed thruster are prevented. When the ship 1 approaches or is separated from a pier, the piston of the air cylinder 25 is advanced, and the case 31 is rotated downward (leftward rotation shown in drawing).
