PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle height adjusting device not unfastened at the time of transporting a vehicle. SOLUTION: In a vehicle, a vehicle height adjusting device for lowering a height of one's own vehicle when an ignition switch is turned off comprises judgment means for judging whether the own vehicle is being transported or not, and ban means for banning execution of the vehicle height adjustment at the time of turning off the ignition switch if the judgment means judges that the own vehicle is being transported. The judgment means judges that the own vehicle is being transported, for example, when (1) it is detected that transporting hooks are installed to the own vehicle, or (2) it is detected that short pins for cutting off dark current of the own vehicle are detached, or (3) it is detected that a rope is hooked around fastening hooks of the own vehicle.
