PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extendable hood device for a vehicle deck allowing the entire or a part of a hood to be set freely relatively easily by one person. SOLUTION: In this hood device for the vehicle deck, a plurality of periphery frames 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, that are positioned in front and in the rear relative to each other, have guide means 3, respectively, that are fitted so as not to drop while being slid relatively in a contraction or an expansion direction. Furthermore, the guide means are arranged in series in a direction orthogonal to the width direction crossing the deck with the plurality of the periphery frames, and a plurality of the guide means arranged in series are disposed in parallel.
