[PROBLEMS] To prevent the coloration in a donepezil-containing skin adhesive preparation to achieve the appearance having a natural color, or the like. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] Disclosed is a method for preventing the coloration in a skin adhesive preparation comprising a substrate and an adhesive layer, wherein the adhesive layer comprises an adhesive agent and donepezil. The method is characterized by adding ascorbic acid or a metal salt or ester thereof and a metabisulfite metal salt to the adhesive layer. Preferably, the method comprises the steps of: providing a preparation product comprising the adhesive agent, donepezil, ascorbic acid or a metal salt or ester thereof and a metabisulfite metal salt; and applying the preparation product onto the surface of the substrate to form the adhesive layer.
