A server, a client and a method for integrated user authentication in a system having multi-authentication means are provided to select preferred or convenient authentication means among multi-authentication means including a certificate, a password, and bio information while securing safety of each authentication means. A method for integrated user authentication at a client of a system having multi-authentication means includes the steps of authenticating a signature of a server based on a public key certificate and generating a session key same as a value of the server based on the signature(S110), selecting an authentication means to be used for authentication of a client(S120), encoding information used for the selected authentication means with the generated session key to request authentication of the client(S130), and discarding the existing session key K and regenerating a new session key SK for protecting data used for a new authentication process(S140).
