摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium-iron-manganese complex oxide which exhibits a stable and good charge and discharge performance as a positive electrode material for a lithium ion secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: The lithium-iron-manganese complex oxide is expressed by the compositional formula: Li<SB>1+x-y</SB>(Fe<SB>z</SB>Mn<SB>1-z</SB>)<SB>1-x</SB>O<SB>2</SB>(wherein, each suffix represents; x=0.05-0.20, y=0.10-0.75 and z=0.4-0.7; y&ge;x) and is in a two phase coexistent state where a first phase having an &alpha;-NaFeO<SB>2</SB>type structure belonging to the space group R-3m satisfying specific conditions and a second phase having an NaCl type structure belonging to the space group Fm-3m satisfying specific conditions are coexistent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
