LITHIUM-IRON-MANGANESE COMPLEX OXIDE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium-iron-manganese complex oxide which exhibits a stable and good charge and discharge performance as a positive electrode material for a lithium ion secondary battery.

SOLUTION: The lithium-iron-manganese complex oxide is expressed by the compositional formula: Li1+x-y(FezMn1-z)1-xO2(wherein, each suffix represents; x=0.05-0.20, y=0.10-0.75 and z=0.4-0.7; y≥x) and is in a two phase coexistent state where a first phase having an α-NaFeO2type structure belonging to the space group R-3m satisfying specific conditions and a second phase having an NaCl type structure belonging to the space group Fm-3m satisfying specific conditions are coexistent.
