<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow utilization of image formation processing to be restricted in accordance with time and function. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a timer 15 for monitoring a time including a calendar function; a display screen 12 with a panel switch function for setting a starting/ending time for the unit of month, week or day and setting operation of an image forming apparatus body during the set period of time for the unit of a port; and a port control section 16 for controlling opening/closing of a set port when the time monitored by the timer 15 becomes the set time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
