<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiving system which can restrict a function easily and reliably. <P>SOLUTION: An MPU 26 of a remote control has an operation signal transmitting portion 263 transmitting to a digital broadcast receiver remote control identifying information, as an operation signal, which is identifying information which can identify each remote control when a specific key which is a preset key is pressed down. An MPU 11 of a digital broadcast receiver has a specific key determining portion 111 determining whether or not an operation signal corresponding to a specific key is accepted, and a function restriction setting portion 112 reading, from a function restriction storing portion 122, function restriction setting information corresponding to the remote control identifying information included in the accepted operation signal when it is determined that the operation signal corresponding to the specific key is accepted, and setting a condition of a function restriction based on the function restriction setting information read. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
