<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supercharger control device for an internal combustion engine capable of appropriately judging change over of mode while reducing time required for setting conditions of change over between a single turbo mode and a twin turbo mode. <P>SOLUTION: The supercharger control device for the internal combustion engine executes control of change over between the single turbo mode and the twin turbo mode of two superchargers arranged in parallel in an intake air passage and an exhaust gas passage. In an embodiment, a target supercharging pressure operation means operates target supercharging pressure in the single turbo mode and target supercharging pressure in the twin turbo mode based on operation conditions, and a change over determination means judges mode change over based on the target supercharging pressures. Consequently, time required for determination of change over can be reduced and generation of torque shock can be inhibited by appropriately determining change over. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
