<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive lithographic printing plate material which is suitable for exposure with laser light having an emission wavelength in a range of 350-450 nm, has high sensitivity, substantially avoids sensitivity variation due to environmental variation in image exposure, and excels in printing durability. <P>SOLUTION: The photosensitive lithographic printing plate material has on a support a photosensitive layer containing (A) a polymerization initiator, (B) a polymerizable compound containing an ethylenic double bond, (C) a sensitizing dye and (D) a polymer binder, wherein the photosensitive layer contains a compound represented by a general formula (1): Rb-Ra-Rb as the sensitizing dye (C), wherein Ra represents a divalent residue of naphthalene, thiophene, furan, pyrrole, imidazole, pyrazole, thiazole, isothiazole, oxazole, isoxazole, oxadiazole, thiadiazole, pyridine, pyrazine, pyrimidine, pyridazine or triazine, and Rb represents a styryl group which may have a substituent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
