<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DI can capable of preventing the generation of pinholes without increasing production cost. <P>SOLUTION: A cylindrical DI can with a bottom is formed by performing a drawing and ironing work on an aluminum alloy strip at a final reduction rate of 45% to 80%. A cross sectional shape perpendicular to the center line O of the cylindrical body part 11 has a projecting part 16 outwardly projecting in the circumferential direction at an interval of 90 degrees.
