PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper fan which solves an issue that characters and patterns printed thereon are hardly visible in the dark to produce poor appealing effect because conventionally a paper fan is frequently used at night. SOLUTION: An LED embedded in a handle of a paper fan is used as a light source to beautifully emit light for indirectly lighting characters and patterns of a message, advertisement, etc. on an acrylate plate (fan part). Though color of characters and patterns on the acrylate plate by laser processing comes out white even without a light source, it more beautifully comes out by using a light source. In a dark place, characters and patterns emit light as if they look floating in space. The acrylate plate part (fan part) may be made interchangeable (of course it may be fixed to the handle part) by a screw system to make different messages (characters and patterns) easily interchangeable. Light emitting itself is beautiful even by regular single color lighting, but visual effect is further enhanced by incorporating color changing, flashing on and off/continuous color changing, etc. to the luminous method of the light source.
