An asphalt surface regeneration method in which the old thinned-out cracked asphalt covering layer is regenerated by application of a thin flowable regenerating agent, in which the regenerating agent automatically penetrates, as a result of capillary action, in to the embrittled asphalt covering layer and the existing bituminous binding agent is regenerated and seals the minute fissures.
