<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the fuel injection efficiency by restraining the temperature rise of a plunger. <P>SOLUTION: The high pressure fuel supply pump 1 comprises a plurality of high pressure pump parts 1A-1D for outputting a high pressure fuel by pressurizing the fuel taken into a barrel 11, wherein at least a part of the high pressure fuel lubricates between the plunger 12 and the barrel 11. The high pressure pump parts 1A-1D each comprise leaked fuel taking out parts, 16, 26, 36, 46 for taking out the leaked fuel generated by the high pressure fuel for fuel lubrication from the barrel 11 to the outside. An interlocking oil path 50 is provided for collecting and guiding to the fuel low pressure side the leaked fuel taken out by the leaked fuel taking out parts 16, 26, 36, 46 so that the leaked fuel is guided to the fuel tank via the interlocking oil path 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
