<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent insulation failure from occurring at a connecting section in a superconductive coil formed by winding a superconductive tape and an insulating tape in a double-pancake coil shape. <P>SOLUTION: In the superconducting coil wound in the double-pancake coil shape by overlapping a strip of insulating tape to a strip of superconducting tape, the superconducting tape at the connecting section of the innermost periphery turn continuing at a double-layer coil section for composing the double-pancake coil is covered with an insulating material, at both the edges at least in the width direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
