PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow reproduction of the content of a digital radio broadcasting in a short time when a digital television broadcasting becomes unreceivable. SOLUTION: A digital broadcasting receiver comprises two receiving parts (10 and 20) for receiving digital television broadcasting and digital radio broadcasting, a selecting part (30) which selects the output signal of one of them, a reproducing part (40) which reproduces a selected signal, a reception condition deciding part (50) which decides whether the receiving condition is good, bad, or unreceivable for each of digital television broadcasting and digital radio broadcasting, and a control part (60) which performs selection/selection instruction for two receiving parts and selecting part based on the decision result. The control part (60), when receives a decision about degradation in reception of one of two receiving parts from the reception condition deciding part, instructs selection of a receivable channel to the other receiving part.
