PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output device by which the charging of a secondary battery can be safely performed and whose operation can be continued by an external power source even if the secondary battery becomes empty in electric capacity. SOLUTION: A bending sensor 4 for detecting the bend of a head band unit 3 is arranged in the head band unit 3. The figure shows that the degree of the bend of the head band unit 3 when it is worn is lower than the degree of the bend of the head band unit 3 when it is not worn. Consequently, the degree of the bend of the bending sensor 4 is also lower when it is worn. In this way, it can be determined that whether headphones are put on a head H or not by seeing an output of the bending sensor 4.
