PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method which enables a large reduction in labor and time necessary for detecting agricultural chemicals remaining in foods imported from many countries and for measuring the residual amount of the agricultural chemicals. SOLUTION: The name S of the producing district of the past detection instance, wherein agricultural chemicals remaining in food, such as the crops, the name F of the food and the name M of agricultural chemicals are preliminarily inputted to or stored in a computer. If the name S of the producing district and the name F of the food are inputted, with respect to the food being an inspect target, the agricultural chemicals to be inspected are specified, and individual quantifying inspection is performed only with respect to the agricultural chemicals.
