PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable setting of an appropriate variable magnification rate even in the case when a user replaces a drum unit or stencil paper by that of a different kind, in stencil printing equipment which enables an installation of the stencil paper different in platemaking sizes or the drum units different in printing face sizes and automatic computation of the variable magnification rate. SOLUTION: The stencil printing equipment includes a copy size detecting means 29, a printing face size setting means 26 for setting the printing face size of the installed drum unit, a platemaking width detecting means 30 for the stencil paper and width and length detecting means 32 and 33 for printing paper. The equipment is capable of calculating and setting the optimum variable magnification rate of a copy image on the basis of copy size, the printing face size, the platemaking width and printing paper size.
