PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the feed of a staple from becoming unstable due to the arranging posture or vibration of an electromotive stapler. SOLUTION: A slide guide groove 34 in a vertical direction is formed to the front side surface of a box-shaped base frame 32 opened upward, and a guide pin 35 is formed to the front side surface of an upper cover 33 to be locked with the slide guide groove 34. Two front and rear compression coil springs 36 and 37 are interposed between the ceiling surface of the upper cover and the press plate 38 under the upper cover. Since the front and rear of a staple sheet are pressed by two compression coil springs, the staple sheet is not raised from a feed pawl when the electromotive stapler arranged in an inverted or oblique state is used, and the feed of the staple is stabilized. Further, since the upper surface of the base frame is opened by sliding the upper cover for supporting the press plate to forward and rotating the same, a refill container is easily replaced.
