PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite processing device capable of maintaining rigidity against a working reaction force even in the case of moving a main spindle head to a position adapted to lathe working or milling. SOLUTION: This composite processing device to carry out lathe working by holding the main spindle head 90 at a horizontal position with respect to a frame 11 and to carry out milling work by holding the main spindle head at a vertical position is provided with a head holding member 91 to hold the main spindle head 90, a supporting frame 170 provided on the frame 11 and supporting the main spindle head 90 through the head holding member 91 between the horizontal position and the vertical position and a fastening mechanism 172 to fasten at least the head holding member 91 and the supporting frame 170 at the horizontal position and the vertical position so as to make them closely contact with each other.
