The device (100) has an excitation device (110) for producing excitation signals adjustable by an excitation control signal regarding an excitation location. A receiving device (120) receives fluorescence signals resulted to the excitation signals based on the receiving control signal. A beam splitting device (130) separates the excitation signals and the fluorescence signals. A control device (140) provides excitation control signals and receiving control signals. The excitation device comprises a color filter or an interference filter, and the receiving device comprises a photo detector. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program having a set of instructions to performs a method for detecting of fluorescence signals in a spatially resolved manner (2) a method for detecting of fluorescence signals in a spatially resolved manner.
