The present invention pertains to the use of at least one interleukin 17F inhibitor and/or at least one TIL17 receptor inhibitor, for the preparation of a drug for the inhibition, the prevention or the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. The invention also relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising, as active ingredient, at least one interleukine 17F inhibitor and/or at least one TIL17 receptor inhibitor in association with an adequate pharmaceutical carrier, as well as its use for the inhibition, the prevention or the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.
